Hello Everyone!
"Integrity is not only about making commitments, but keeping them long after the mood we made the commitment in has gone. It is about decisions and actions we make on a daily basis, and that which we do when no one is watching."
My name is Kavita and welcome to my holistic health and wellness blog.
Not being a stranger to extreme life struggles, I have over time mastered the art of self neglect, though eagerly put others first.
Now, as I near closer to entering a new chapter of my life, one day starting a family of my own...I am committed to using my knowledge of nutrition and exercise paired with my love of learning and personal growth, to make long-term changes.
Lifestyle changes are not temporary, they are changes that are made little by little until life's tool box is full of resources for healthy living. When these resources are identified, implemented, and practiced...you can achieve success in anything you put your mind to.
I have always wanted to be athletic, always aspired to do more than my mind led me to believe I could. Inside...without looking in the mirror or stepping on a scale...that's where I want to be a fit girl. When we find our inner fit girl, it will blossom outwards.
Always having struggled with my weight and a battle of eating for comfort and immediate satisfaction, I am dedicated to using food for fuel and nourishment. The food we eat and the ways we make our bodies move must be modes for satisfaction that is on going.
If you have goals, perhaps you have been setting them, you write them down on December 31st, hit it hard in the gym the first week of every year, plan your meals well during all of January...and then, something creates a hiccup in the road. So easily, your goals slip through the cracks. Follow me as I incorporate small changes on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis that add up to big results. Here, our goals are dreams with deadlines.
I'm a registered nurse with my Bachelors and I am confident that my nursing background, life experience, desire, and enthusiasm will propel me forward as I start this journey. If I am blessed to achieve my goals and granted the honor of helping a few others along the way, than my efforts would have been more than worth it.
Please feel free to follow my blog, leave me messages, ask questions, leave advice or encouragement, and recommend innerfitgirl to your friends and family.
Find and nourish your inner fit girl, true fitness starts from inside you.
Best of luck!
If using broccoli, cut into very small pieces and put in glass dish, add few tablespoons water, cover with Saran Wrap, and microwave on high for a minute to cook just enough until bright green. Most other veges can just cook with the eggs.

You say put half in fridge for this week and other half for next. Is the other half in the fridge also or do you freeze? I’m a huge huge fan of broccoli in my eggs, probably my favorite omelet veggie. Also, you use raw bacon or do you cook it ahead of time. I think I will be making these for my hubby who is doing low carb, think I will add cheese though. Do you cover these with foil or bake uncovered?

Just bake uncovered, bacon is raw, bacon in general cooks very well in the oven!!!
The other half is frozen for next week. π
